  4. This is Release Version 1.0 of my mpeg player.
  5. To install the player under Windows 3.1(tm), Unzip the file disk1.zip
  6. to a floppy disk. The run the setup.exe file from Windows.
  7. To install the player under Windows NT(tm) copy the files mpegplay.exe and
  8. mpegplay.hlp to a common directory.Then create a new program item for the
  9. mpegplay.exe file via the File New option of the Program Manager.

  11. The working directory must be the same as the program path. Otherwise
  12. the Online help file will not be found (see known bugs section at the end
  13. of this document.)
  14. Read the Disclaimer in the online Help before loading any mpeg movie files.

  17. on registering your copy.

  39. Known Bugs:
  40. (1) Help file must be in the working directory when the player is started.
  41. (2) The Mono Dither is not working properly.
  42. (3) The 2x2 Color Dither has patches of incorrect color.
  43. (4) Sometimes the player fails to display Full Color 354x288 images after
  44.     a previous movie has been Opened and then Closed.
  45. (5) The Player is slower than is possiable.
  46. (6) Bug/feature The Player runs slow when ever the mouse is moving.
